CELEBRATING A PERSONALITY OF NIGER DELTA STRENGTH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HIGH CHIEF BIBOPERE AJUBE, Alias White-And-White, Shoot-At-Sight, the Beleukoriwei (Asiwaju) of Arogbo Kingdom, Ondo State.

High Chief Bibopere Ajube who is predominantly referred to by his sobriquet, 'Shoot-At-Sight' and 'White-And-White' was born into Ajube family in Bolowou Zion in Arogbo Kingdom, Ese-Odo Local Government Area in Ondo State.

For years Shoot-At-Sight was a commander in various guerrilla groups in the Niger Delta Which were all agitating against their perceived insensitivity of the federal government and the international oil companies towards to exploitation and degradation of the Niger Delta. 

During his time as a guerrilla commander, he amongst other prominent Niger Delta freedom fighters and fearless agitators, under the auspices of Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) camped at Akanapu in Ese-Odo Local Government Area in Ondo State and some other Niger Delta movement groups, was able to drive the Nigerian government to grant amnesty to MEND members who decided to surrender. Shoot-At-Sight was granted full amnesty as well as all of his men when he embraced the amnesty offer on the Federal Government of Nigeria under president Umaru Musa Yar'Adua on June 27, 2009. Tompolo embraced amnesty on October 4, 2009, in order to allow for peace in the area, and for the government and oil companies to carry out development projects, and provide jobs and training.

On a platter of traditional honour, Shoot-At-Sight was conferred on a zenith chieftaincy title in Arogbo Kingdom by the traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, King Barr. Doubra Egbunu, JP, as the Beleukoriwei of Arogbo Kingdom early 2022, which he is now addressed titular, High Chief Bibopere Ajube, the Beleukoriwei (Asiwaju) of Arogbo Kingdom.
